The year 2024 marked the creation of our project, a year filled with achievements, successes, and learning. From launching our forst website to being featured on official WoW content, we’ll go over the past few month.
Chronological Overview
In August 2024, Bakreal launched the first version of Wowchievement, a tool designed to meet a personal need of tracking MOP remix collectibles. I then joined the adventure, and one month later, we released version 2 featuring a major visual redesign and the support for renown tracking.

Shortly after, we developed SpentOnWow. While the technical development was quick, we took the time to structur our organization, which led to the creation of Sapling-Toss, the entity that will unify under one banner all of our work.
At the end of SpentOnWow’s development, we undertook the third redesign of Wowchievement to unify the technologies used across our platforms, making maintenance easier.
In October, the release of the “Bruto” mount in World of Warcraft inspired the creation of a humorous website: did-my-husband-buy-bruto.com. Bakreal developed it in a few hours after the release. The humor of the website quickly won over the community, generating numerous shares and positive feedback.
On December 20th, we reached a major milestone with the simultaneous launch of Wowchievement v3, SpentOnWow, and Sapling-Toss.
A few days later, on December 26th, did-my-husband-buy-bruto.com was featured in the WoW end-of-year recap. We are gratefull for this recognition of our work.
Media Mentions
Several articles mentioned our various websites, further boosting their visibility. Among them were: Icy-Veins, Buffed.de, Tarreo, GoldGoblin, and many more. You can find all the articles (to our knowledge) showcasing our work on our Discord server: Discord Link.
Looking Ahead to 2025
We closed out 2024 in style with the launch of Wow-Recap.com on the last day of the year.
For 2025, several ambitious projects are already in the works:
- Two new websites unrelated to World of Warcraft. We’re keeping them under wraps for now, as they will require more time before being revealed.
- Updates for WoWchievement and SpentOnWow to further improve the user experience and adding more features.
We are also exploring our option to only rely on Reddit to share our work, we will talk more about our plan in a future blog post.
Finally, we are actively looking for ways to better cover our costs while maintaining the quality and accessibility of our projects.
Thank you all for your support in 2024, and see you in 2025 for new adventures!
